With the opening of my new studio in Pocasset, I am able to offer a number of services for others related to my own artistic work.  These include

Reproduction and Print Services for Artists - Giclees

I am available to photograph and/or print reproductions for painters.  I apply the same high standards to the reproduction of your art as I do to my own original work.  I photograph in natural light where possible, and I print from a color-calibrated monitor. 

My objective is to provide the finest possible print that will match your original work as closely as possible.  I work with you to achieve that match, and do not make a final print until you approve the proof.

I can provide references from local working artists of the highest reputation.

Custom Prints

If you have a digital image file that you would like printed on fine art paper, I can make a print for you that is consistent with the highest quality of my own work.

A 10x15 image on 13x19 fine art paper costs $50.  This price includes all digital image work and color matching.  Additional prints are $25 each.  Please contact me for price quotes on other sizes and papers.

Personal Instruction

I am available to work with photographers at all levels to help you improve your technical and aesthetic skills.

This might mean help in reading the camera manual to set an f-stop or it might mean an exploration of the story implied in the picture and how the elements of composition and technique do or do not contribute to that story.

I personally believe that art is a successfully shared fantasy.  All who relate to the Mona Lisa are one way or another sharing an imaginative experience with Leonardo.  His success in sharing his imaginative experience over generations of a culture depends both on the appeal of the underlying fantasy and the technique applied to render it.

The same issues are at play with your baby pictures and landscapes.  Will someone else, looking at those pictures share your imaginative experience, or will the pictures fall flat?  I can help you explore these issues, and help raise the level of your photography.

An hour of instruction in my studio costs $25 plus any ink and paper or other materials charged at my cost.
