A red bicycle leans against a gold leaf wall in the leather district of Florence.  A classic hardwood door, with polished brass knob leads into the courtyard.

This picture came to me at a time of great change and possibility in my life, the quiet joy and possibility of the image express a little about the impulses that led me to devote full time to my photography.
